CAMO Grunge

How are you all guys doing? I know that heavy rain and crazy thunderstorm are visiting often than imagined, but just stay calm and suggest to stay home and drink a good warm coffee. I don't want you guys to get sick. Anyways, I got sooo many pending backlogs to finish and I am deeply praying that I finish all of them soon. For now, let me share to you my look during 'the not so rainy season' stay-cation at Gran Prix Cebu.

I'm currently checking out Gran Prix Boracay Hideaway for my upcoming trip this October! I'm so exited and was even more lucky when I saw this deal at Groupon!

Kadayawan 2012 for the Weekend

Kadayawan 2012
Kadayawan 2012

Shirt from Baleno; Thrifted pants; Boots from Forever 21;  Bag and accessories from SM Accessories
It was my first time to experience Kadayawan Festival and I must say I enjoyed my weekend in Davao. Davao already had a special spot in my heart ever since my first footprint on their sand. Until now, I feel like Davao is the best place to live in and build a home -- second to Dumaguete of course. :p

The street dance and the float parade was quick than what I usually hear, but the events were jam-packed in different malls and areas in the city. Met few artists in the airport and had a good booze at Starr on a Saturday night.

I also met Aidx, Janvie and Karl for a quick chit-chat and I appreciate how welcoming these young inspiring kids are. Thank you so much guys. I wish I could treat you next time (I was on a tight budget that time). LOL!

Also, a huge, fat thank you to great friends (Markie, Jay, Borgie, Nate, etc.) who made this Kadayawan 2012 more unforgettable! Kudos to you guys! Cheers!

August Rush

Thrifted scarf; Blazer from Bossini; Shirt and Boots from Forever 21; Jeans from H&M; Watch from SM Accessories
The cold breeze of the month of 'BER' is a bit early here in the Philippines (or was it just because of the tropical storm GENER -- which is now a typhoon). I hope everyone is safe and please be updated with the current news. Now I realized how important it is for us to watch and listen to news.

Decided a more covered and more layered look (which is so not me. LOL) because of sudden drizzle/rain and cold wind. The weather is starting to be better now though. BTW, HYPE my look on LookBook here.

Would also love to share the Bipolar Collection of Oh My Darling.

See the whole Bipolar Collection here and do like them on facebook for more DIYs and collections. I've heard that they will be making more cool shorts for boys too so you better stay tune and like them now! :D

Have a great weekend guys!

Into the Wild - Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel

I was a bit all around the place for the weekend. Friends, my partner and even myself was so busy that we were not able to catch up with each other. I had to do a hosting gig for the whole Saturday which made me sleep the entire Sunday.

Anyways, I went to this awesome resort named as Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel, which happened to receive the highest resort classification (AAA) award from the Philippine Department of Tourism. To top all of that, Costabella proudly flaunts their love for art, culture and family.

Look at the carving at the background. It is a Cebuano who carved those! See how amazing it is?

Yes, Costabella is a family oriented hotel that will give you the warmth of your own home. A lover of art and culture giving pride to local artists in Cebu promoting their masterpieces and the antiques that they have successfully took good care of.

As much as I really want to, I can't seem to express through writing how amazing this place is. I am completely in a trance just looking at every corner of the hotel. These art collection is magnificent! Kudos to all the staff and crew who made the hotel such a lovely place to live in.

There is so much to see in Costabella and I strongly suggest that you check the place out. They probably have more art than what you find in other museums. It is also a must to check out their lovely rooms (with its customized weaved bed cover) and amenities too.

The 1st Anniversary at Boracay

Yes, I was offline for a while because of a very special occasion. My better half and I flew to Boracay last week for our Anniversary Celebration. Coincidentally, Boracay was identified as THE BEST Island in the World for 2012. This gave an extra boost for the both of us to save for that special day.
Felt feverish during this time, but I needed to fly. I spent too much already to miss this trip. LOL!
Touchdown -- Boracay!
Had so much activities during our Boracay trip and I can't wait to share all of them on the next posts. For now, let me quickly share my look on the first day in Boracay. Please hype it on LookBook too :D

Get Sole Shirt from David Guison's stall at BU 3 (Thanks to Vanessa for buying the shirt for me!); Thrifted pajamas and shoes; Bracelets from 101 New York and H&M.

Loosen Up a Bit

I apologize for not updating this blog as often as I should have. I got preoccupied with work and was not really able to think of anything else, but work. Yes, I'm a workaholic! Nevertheless, I did have a chance to loosen up a bit and was able to relax, even just for a day.
BTS shot by Herbert! Love this shot btw.

Today is another busy weekend for me, but I'll make sure to find time and rest. You guys should find time to rest too. Have a great weekend guys! Don't forget to check out SM SALE until July 15, 2012.

Shop at Multiply the Cebu Style

This has been one of the longest wait for bloggers like me and the rest of the merchants here in Cebu. Multiply finally came here in Cebu to meet and greet bloggers and merchants and officially introduce the most hyped e-commerce platform that they have been working on.

I remember myself years ago posting my photos in Multiply, but because of being resourceful and business minded of the Filipinos and the South East Asian people, Multiply welcomed the world of online shopping!
I love shopping @shopatmultiply

To be all honest, I am no good with business, but I would love to give it a try...and this is the key for my first attempt to try business. I have been saying this on my previous posts that I am working on my online shop and this will be under Multiply.com. I was so inspired that it made me open my own BPI account a week after the said event just to connect the payment transaction. See how hyped I am on this new endeavor? LOL! I really can't wait for my online shop to open. I hope to see you all there. :D

I would also like to quickly share here the most recent updates about my life in general. Yes, you've noticed that I am 'nowhere to be found at day' because I currently have a job as a night-crawling Callboy (if you know what I mean). I have also been preparing for my upcoming online shop which I am very excited about! :D
Lastly, I am finalizing my trip to Boracay within 2 weeks from now with my better-half. Our gift for each other for our coming 1st year Anniversary.

Well, that's it for now. I am absolutely happy and content. Fight comes and goes, thy Love stays forever!

Cheers to life guys!

FinLust Meets The Lustrous Pearls

It was just so refreshing and tantalizing at the same time looking at all those gorgeous pearls from Jewelmer last 27th of June at the Tinderbox. Jewelmer introduced their new pearl collections. It was too beautiful to look at that made me hate myself not saving enough money to even buy at least one piece of their collection. I was actually eyeing on that black pearl ring for men. Below are some of the pieces that caught my attention:
This would be perfect for my mom!
Their new collection can be a friendship band. Don't you think? It's so hip!
Drooling while staring at this earrings. A girl will definitely fall head over heel when you give this one.
Thank you very much for the inviting me again...and in all fairness, my first post for Jewelmer is still one of the most read post here (Luster for Life - Jewelmer's Pearl Exhibit in Cebu) so I'm sure those readers would love to here this new update from Jewelmer.

Cool Summer Fever - Postura Day 3

Hype me on LookBook here
Thrifted dyed denim polo; Tank top from Bench; White belt from Lee; DIY cool blue shorts; Boat shoes from Boardwalk; Bracelets from SM Accessories; Neon blue watch from Meridian (Nixon)
This neon blue Nixon watch from Meridian just gave an outstanding cool touch to my whole look!
Just because I'm too excited for my Summer Escapade to Boracay and maybe some more destinations (will be revealing them real soon), I just have to get more summer clothes...and what better way to get cool clothes yet still very cheap is by going to thrift shops and DIYing them! Hahaha!

That DIY blue shorts used to be a dirty old pants worth Php 5.00 in a thrift shop...and now it's a really cool trendy shorts! Thanks to Eden for the inspiration and hoping to make more DIY and my own designs soon (guess what, I actually thought of a brand for my designs already...excited much? LOL)!

And have you noticed that lovely neon watch? Isn't it pretty nice? It's just so pleasant to the eyes and I want to thank Meridian for this amazing Nixon watch!

Anyways, I will be assisting Eden for a styling gig this weekend and I'm feeling the rush of my imagination on this one! This will be my first time to work with Eden and she will brutally teach me the things that I need to learn with this styling thing. Hahaha! Lastly, thank you so much to Yuno for these great shots! You're the best man! BTW, this is my Postura Day 3 entry.
