2 Wroking Days Left...

YES! 2 working days left and DAY OFF here I go...

Aside from that, I can't wait to meet all the CEBU BLOGGER SOCIETY this Saturday, yet still hesitant...

Apart of me is excited because I will meet lots of new friends that can definitely help me at BLOG WORLD...because even though I've been here for a year and how many months now, I still have LOTS of things to learn and discover...TOTALLY!

However, half of it is very intimidated...simply because when I look at them, I can see class, high standard, big time, professional people. That is how I look at them...

Even if I possess an overconfident personality (according to friends), I think I can't use that personality to them... Besides, I have that personality because they're my friends...

Anyways, let's change topic...I'll be going back to Dumaguete on the 18th for the capping (Nursing thing) of one of my best friends, Carolee. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

In addition to this, I'll also be visiting my family there, friends, my barkada, and the love of my life :)

I just hope I'll have enough money left during that time...Well, I gotta go now...almost time for work...peace out!

Another Day...

Sigh...4 hours of sleep...fair enough. Washed clothes (no more budget for laundry)! Wahehehe!

Anyways, I got bored at the apartment so I went to a Cafe hoping for friends to be online; however, everyone seems to be busy...except for one: Charles!

'Thanks for the great conversation about movies and stuff... It was nice knowing you! peace out!'

BTW, check out Charles, blog. This kid indeed has the taste when it comes to GREAT movies!

Well, I better get back now...and get ready for work... Have a GREAT day everyone!

Connection...

As you all know, the WIFI connection we used to get is not giving us connection anymore... I don't know why...the connection is there, but we can't access...they might have done something to the router...I'm really not sure...

Anyways, I went to SMART yesterday to avail for an Internet connection; however, the line is too LONG...and I needed to go somewhere else...

Sigh...I slept for almost 10 hours today...wahehehe!

Well, I'll better get ready for work now...peace out!

Think...Think...Think...

Woooh! I just got home from a soccer game...and I'm about to go to work within an hour...but of course, I need to BLOG first :)

BTW, I went to the NIGHT MARKET last week end and I want to share my newly bought SHOES!

cOoL!

...and it just cost Php. 600. This shoe would probably cost me Php. 4,000 + at Malls.

This is also the reason why I thought of a business about selling items...YEAH! I'm so excited...I hope this falls into place...I'm really hoping...

Anyways, I got to go now...work is almost coming...peace out!

Psyched Up!!!

Okay! Now, I'm really psyched up in making my business into REALITY!!!

I just hope it won't be thrown to waste... For now, I keep this into silence...trying to make it slowly yet surely.

Anyways, I'll be having a badminton practice with my sis and some workmates at 2pm...really need to get serious with exercise and diet! I also need to be strict with my gym schedule and need to follow my trainer from now on :P

For tomorrow, I'll be having a soccer practice with workmates and I think we will be having a sporty game with other teams. Well, I better get ready for that one.

Mixed Up

Today will be my last shift for the day...and I am having mixed emotions.

CONTENTMENT:
Last shift was a perfect scenario of work I wanted! Lots of work, but not too much.

I am still overwhelmed of what God has given to my sister and I here in Cebu:

  • a great apartment to stay and very affordable;
  • responsible parents...No doubt;
  • healthy body;
  • good paying job;
  • talents; and
  • our knowledge.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

JEOLOUSY:
A member of our Cheer Leading Team send a message earlier that she with her family will migrate in San Fransisco. A dream of going abroad has been a desire since a child.

It was just yesterday that I knew that my batch mate is already working in a prestigious company in Manila, IBM. One of the dreams I had after graduation...sigh.

EXCITEMENT:
I've been always active in the BLOG WORLD and it will be a great honor for me to finally meet, hopefully, all the CEBU BLOGGERS SOCIETY at Waterfront Hotel on the 11th of July. However, with all the priorities I'm dealing right now, I'm not sure If I can be active with their activities, especially that I have noticed that most of them belongs to a higher class family.

LONELY:
Simply because I am missing my hometown...and to the special person that keeps my heart on its fast pace.

The only question that is drowning my mind is that: Will I survive here in Cebu?

What do you think?

My phone can access INTERNET!

WAAAAH!!!

I’m so HAPPY!!! Aside from her wearing the necklace I bought for her birthday, I can access Internet through my PHONE! YEAH!!!

I was experimenting and researching how to access Internet through my phone…and all these times, it was right in front of me for more than 3 months now: INTERNET SERVICES! I never tried opening it until now…

Anyways, my CP is an Access NetFront Web Browser carrier, which is, I think, the fastest web browser for nanotechnology.

NetFront™ Browser is the most advanced, versatile and powerful full Internet browser for beyond-PC devices. Specifically designed and optimized to deliver high performance in resource-constrained environments, NetFront Browser supports almost any OS and CPU, and offers low power consumption, easy customization, and a broad range of plug-ins.
These reasons and more are why the NetFront Browser is the most popular choice for manufacturers and operators. In fact, NetFront™ products, including the NetFront Browser as an embedded Internet browser, have shipped in over 600 million devices (as of August 31, 2008) throughout the world, including mobile phones, digital TVs, set-top boxes, mobile handhelds, game consoles, automobile navigation systems and many other types of products. Budgeting...

I have been always keen when it comes to spending money…but now, I need to be keener!

I used to live in a City where you can find Turo-Turo Store that will greatly satisfy your hunger with a budget of 20-30 pesos. But now, it’s as if you’re obliged to go to classy restaurants, which will cost you much, because of the way your environment is living.

I deeply miss Dumaguete…

I miss those days where my high school friends and I used to eat at Kasadja bringing only 15 pesos for a cup of rice and a piece of pork chop with free soup :)

There are also what we call Manggahan and Kabayuan (the same owner I think) that serves delicious paklay. Also, one of the highlights here is the exotic food that they cater: UTOK (UTAK or BRAIN)! Yummy!!!

Habhaban is also a popular place to go, especially after social night out and cheering practices. You might want to try Soup # 5 here.

If you want to eat exotic street foods, Barbequehan sa ACSAT and The Bridge are the best places for you. Barbeque, isaw (IUD), adidas, longganisa, hotdog, chorizo, and a lot more…and very cheap!

If you desire pizza, I introduce to you NEVA’S PIZZA, PASTA, ATBP. They are, so far, the best and the cheapest pizza place I’ve ever been in Dumaguete! Try it! You won’t regret!

These are the usual places I go to in Dumaguete (Food Escapades).

There are better restaurants in Dumaguete like Gabby’s Bistro, owned by kuya Gabby and Ma Mia’s Restaurant…but I prefer extraordinary food in a very casual (probably less casual) places.

Bummed After Work

I'm so tired...I can't wait for a year or 6 months to end my contract here...WAAAH!

Having lots of things to do is not the reason why I'm starting to dislike work. It's actually the exact opposite.

No doubt that I am given satisfaction when it comes to my salary as my first professional employment; however, it's not just about the salary...

I'm sick and tired of work because most often I don't have nothing to do...AT ALL!!! And this makes me feel that my time in the office is wasted and it's as if I'm not growing because of this.

What I do when I have nothing to do is read...read handouts for work...but experiencing this is much better! Besides, I easily understand things when I do it rather than reading notes about it.

Honestly, I just accepted this job because I indubitably need experience...and I often say to my friends that my work is fine, whenever they ask about it, because I know what they're implying is just about the salary.

I need a work that will compensate my skills and talents. That is what I NEED!

Sigh...where can I find you...?

Doing Hard Things

It has been a while since I have read a book...and I grabbed this opportunity to improve myself back again...

DOING HARD THINGS by Alex and Brett Harris, younger brothers of Jashua Harris, the famous author of the books: I Kissed Dating Goodbye, Boy Meets Girl, and Not Even a Hint.

This book is actually the result of this BLOG they created when they were still 16 years old, The Rebelution.com.

These twins found this way of communicating with other teens through blogging...and it was indeed successful.

Rebelution, a combination of rebellion and revolution and defined by the author as 'a teenage rebellion against low expectation'.

I have not reached half of the book yet, but I know what is inside it already...a very easy-to-read book indeed.

We might actually have done a lot of HARD THINGS in life that we might have not noticed or probably do not know what to call it, until this book existed :)

The book gave true to life scenarios of teenagers and how they handle their lives to its fullest!

A GREAT BOOK! BRAVE AUTHORS! STUNNING LIFE STORIES!

Reminisce

Just got back in Cebu…and comparing some things when I went outside the gates of Dumaguete and went to the gates of Cebu,

It is so different…

I arrived at around 8pm and got inside the apartment at 8:45pm…and these are the things I’ve noticed:

  • Right after I locked the door, it suddenly rained hard… Was it welcoming me to be back here in Cebu? I don’t know
  • I drank the water and it doesn’t taste good… Water in Dumaguete still gives me this soothing feeling every time it flows down to my throat.
  • …and I felt lonely and bummed after realizing that it was only me (alone) in the room…sigh

If only I could turn back time… If only there is only one priority in life… If only love is that easy to handle… if only…

In addition to this, I would like to apologize deeply for one mistake I did to this one person whom I really idolize for working hard and striving for success. I hope I did not mislead this person… :(

Condolences...King of Pop!

A SUDDEN SHOCKING NEWS!!!

I was at work…busy making projects while listening to the radio from my CP…until, I’ve heard that The King of Pop, Micheal Jackson, died today at 12:30 EST due to cardiac arrest.

It was a shock to the World since he was already practicing for another concert tour...and then this happened!

I know that there were tons of issues that stained him as a great artist; however, I still believe that he is a GREAT HUMANITARIAN. A proof to this is his composition, HEAL THE WORLD.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE…thy peace and serenity in heart and soul…

Almost...

OK! One more day to go (work) and I'm off to Dumaguete! YEAH!

Lots of thing to do in 2 days vacation in Dumaguete and I'm effin broke! LOL!

Anyways, it has been a while since I have held and read a book...and indubitably, my grammar and sentences structure is getting weaker and weaker. Damn! I really need to go back and study English and Litterature (one of my TOP subjects).

Currently, I only have 2k, and I'll be buying the following:

- A mystery/love story book (for Gimpee) - bought
- a stuff toy (for KP)
- 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' by Joshua Harris - bought
- 'Boy Meets Girl' by Josh Harris - bought
- 'Not Even a Hint' by Joshua Harris - bought

Hmmmp, there is something about this Mr.Joshua Harris that entices me to read more and more of his books. I was researching about these books that I've mentioned and the comments that I've read are enough for me to MUST BUY the books :)

However, the problem is, How am I going to buy all this with just 2k!??? And I still need to pay for my fair back and forth...and I have to attend an event on the 27th...WAAAAH!!!

Well, that's my torment for today...LOL! peace out!

---UPDATE---

I just bought the books earlier! ROCK!!! YEAH!!! In addition, I also added the following books:

- 'Blood For Blood' by Pio Gabad Arce
- 'When God Writes Your Love Story' by Eric & Leslie Ludy
- 'Do Hard Things' by Alex & Brett Harris

Synopsis

(written: 3:30; June 25, 2009)

As what I have written in my previous entry, my sister and I, along with her friends, watched TRENSFORMERS 2...and what can I say? -- STUNNING!!!
Everything in the movie was indeed AMAZING!!! We already got a reservation before the movie started so we already have our names on our respective sits!

I can say no more but to praise the movie! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Anyways, earlier at the apartment, my sister brought a DVD which I hastily watched. The movie was entitled 'NODAME CANTABILE', and that is the name of the main character (Juri Ueno)...a very cute girl.
The story is in relation to music, specifically Orchestra...and about this girl who have this weird personality that men usually get interested...and that's what happened to Chiaki Cinichi, the leading guy role, (Hiroshi Tamaki).
However, I was not able to finish watching it since I badly need to sleep...I'll puspone my synopsis in this statement:

"4 THUMBS UP!!! A MUST SEE INDEED!"

Well, that's i for now...I can't wait to go back to Dumaguete! peace out!

Coming Soon...

Wooohooo! I just got out of the office and ,WOW, it's already Wednesday! I never thought time can be sooooo FAST!

Anyways, Transformers 2 is now showing today and I think my sister and I will watch the movie!!! I can't wait...

In addition to this, I just want to give this entry to my (our) Jesus...I just want to say thank you for everything! It may seem very ordinary, but this is my purest thanks to You!

...for giving us this very comfortable apartment...for my sister's examinations where she always answers correctly even if she was not able to study well...for the guidance, health, and our lives Lord, God...

...for giving us wonderful parents...and so much more...

I can't thank you more...for everything...

Especially, for letting it rain...I know you have a reason for letting it rain often here...and I think I know why...

As we all know, Cebu's barrier against A(H1N1) or Swine Flu Virus is already broken. It was already a weak ago that a Korean boy was newsed to be dead and positive with the said virus.

2 days ago, it was scattered to the public that University of Cebu, Mandaue is postponing their classes because 3 students are POSITIVE with Swine Flu Virus! They are currently quarantined in a Dormitory.

And while I was reading some articles on the net, I found out that the rain can cleanse or simply clean the air...and that is probably the reason why it often rains...

See how GOD can be so GOOD!

We often neglect and overlook this kinds of things...and never appreciate it at all...

THANK YOU!

Lastly, I'll be getting a shot of a Flu Vaccine tonight just to make sure I have resistance against this virus. As we all know, PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. I'll also try to find time to buy some surgical mask just in case...since one of the reason why you get this virus is when something is put into your mouth. So you better be careful with spitting mouth...LOL!

That's it for now...peace out!

Is Back!!!

Finally! A real Internet connection...Dammit! The WIFI we used to have at the apartment is getting paranoid! We can't browse though the connection is still there...

Anyways, I had a great weekend with some friends...and I got a chance to go shopping (for the very first time in my life)...YEAH!

Plans for now:

  • go to ukay-ukay
  • go to grocery
  • wash clothes
  • get an internet connection
I also had a chance to visit colon last night...and it was AMAZING! They have this what you call 'NIGHT MARKET' and the items are really, really cheap...I suddenly miss Dumaguete...sigh. Dumaguete usually have this things going... I'll definitely go back...they say it ends on July 25...

that's it for now...

Finally!!!

Yeah! Last day of work!!! Sorry for not blogging yesterday...I could not get any connection at the apartment...the WIFI connection we used to have suddenly vanished into thin air...sigh...which means I'll be more often inside an Internet Cafe for the succeeding days :(

Anyways, yesterday's work was another interesting day...I, again had another little chat with my Boss (however, I don't exactly know where)...LOL!

We planned to go to Mama Maria's Pizza (finally) for dinner and we will probably go to MANGO or somewhere where we can dance or sing...we will just plan that while eating dinner...

BTW, I think we will be watching some French Movies in Ayala tomorrow afternoon...

Well, that's it for now...better logout and go to work now...peace out!
