Successful Defense

We just finished defending our OJT Project, E-Radio: A Live Audio Streaming Implementation and thank God it was accepted, although it has a lot of comments from our panelists. Grrr!

Actually, this is our second defense for this Project and I just got pissed-off because they should have given all the comments they can make during the first defense, but instead they had more comments today than the last time. (The nerve of this incompetent teachers...sorry to say! Note: Not all)

I just had enough of these powerful people surrounding the campus...with their guts and chinned up facade.

I just remembered a theory I made back in High School:

Having a name with Magna cum Laude or Suma cum Laude do not necessarily mean that you are one of the best students in your school...in some ways, teacher factor comes in.

Identity Fraud: Cyberbullying!

Have you ever tried searching your complete name or your usual username in Google or Yahoo?

Well, you better do it now or you might get astonished (in a negative way) of what you will be seeing.

I was watching GMA, for the first time (I'm a KAPAMILYA!), just to check if they had upgraded their video quality and I was amazed by its new episode called Kablog. It was a new trend in the society (Hahaha! cuz' I got one). Anyhow, one of their topics was cyberbullying and their are many identity damaged and still being damaged because of technological abuse (Hala! SIKAT man d i ko! Lolz) So I decided to search my own name in Google, and guess what kinds of information popped-out aside from my own accounts..? Yes! I am also a victim of Identity fraud. Imagine, I got 2 accounts in friendster well infact I only got 1 account because it's very tiring to update. I sent a message to this copycat and threatened him/her/it to block his/her/its IP address and locate his/her/its address if he/she/it won't delete the fake account. A day after, the account was gone...hoooow!

It was overwhelming and frightening at the same time...just imagine if the account has unreal information that could destroy your career or as a holistic person...I could have been mocked by now.

A Tip for Copycats:

Imitation they say is the best form of flattery, but make sure that imitating someone can benefit you as a person and could not destroy a person's life.

KODIGZ!

I just had my first Mid-Term exam yesterday, Monday, and as what I have written from my previous entry, I wasn't able to study because of so many priorities...

Because of this, I was able to hold on a sharp knife. In short, nag-cheat ako..huhuhu! Sorry Mr. R. I cheated during your Mid-Term exam...

In fairness, effective! Lolz...seriously, I hope I won't do this often...(ibig-sabihin magagawa ko parin to sooner or later...basta hindi parati...) Wow! vulgar!

Sorry again...

A Letter

I'm not really good at this, but here it goes...a love letter...

Dear Raissa,

I've always wanted to talk...about us, but there is something hindering my voice to come out...maybe because you can't talk to me about how you really feel, or maybe because I don't want to feel the pain again.

This would probably be the first and the last letter I'll be making for you so I'll make the most out of it.

I know you loved me and still love me, but I don't know what made you stop...Is it because of me? Or you?

I tried to stop thinking about you...I tried not to go with our friends, but hearing gossips that you've been drinking and crying...it just breaks my heart.

I want to know everything...every single word...every single letter...every single detail.

I love you...

You were never far from my mind. After you closed the door, I felt like the last person on earth.

Once upon a time, I wanted to know what Love was...

Love is there if you want it to be. You just have to see that it's wrapped in beauty and hidden away between the seconds of our life. If you don't stop for a minute, you might miss it...forever.

My Bad...

"There is a time in our life where we get drunk and unconsciously doing things that we (values) don't do."

First and foremost I would like to apologize to my friend, FC, for spanking him in public. My bad.. :( It happened last Monday where I was entertaining 3 tables in a row. I started my drinking session around 1pm with my STEDS friends, Rhumpipz, BTS, and with our very good friend Tanduay (Mr. T. for short). After 3 hours and a half (rough estimate) Bryne Marchan (1st runner-up Miss Silliman 2007) and Katrina Malahay (1st runner-up Miss Zamboangita 2008), my classmate during High School, arrived on the same area where we were drinking. Because it was their first, I was obliged to introduce the place to them. We got a table and drank 3 Grande of Red Horse. After a couple of hours, I have noticed that most of the men was staring at my friends and Katrina's face was spilling profain words already so I told them to better leave the place before something goes wrong. Outrageously, they left the place leaving me almost drunk.

I went back to my friends and continue the 'Rhum Party'. After 4 shots of rhum, I got busted...totally WASTED! (I got unconscious with the heavy body.)

I don't know what happened but according to my friends, I slapped FC on the face.

That was the reason why I made this entry, to reduce burden and conscience. By the way, I was able to say sorry last Wednesday, and thank God he accepted my apology. He told me "It was okay, really. I understand the situation..." and boy I was soooo relieved. I tried to find his friendster account to link his account here but I could'nt find it.

(Note: Do not drink mixed liquors, especially from Tanduay-to-Beer-to-Tanduay...)

A Story of Mr. Montenegro

Mr. Montenegro is my current teacher in our Religion 61 class, which is all about Ethics. Just this morning, he told us a very shocking revelation that he experienced during his college life. It was an experience he will never forget.

He was an Agriculture student then, and accidentally impregnated his girlfriend who was a Muslim Senior student. They planned to abort the child because they were not ready; in addition, he might get 'killed' if the girl's parent will know that the girl is pregnant. (Oh boy...)

During the abortion, they identified that the child was a girl, and everytime Mr. Montenegro thinks about the scenario, he would cry but he don't know why (maybe because of the guilt).

Now, Mr. Montenegro is very happy with his life and his lovely wife, and his ex-girl friend is also very happy with her life and her husband who is currently an attorney. However, what is very interesting is that all their children are men...Hmmm, coincidence or karma...?

Well for me, it was definitely unethical. However, I appreciated and I idolize Mr. Montenegro for telling his story. It was definitely a bad experience, but this is what life is all about. Make mistakes, learn from it, and try not to do it again. Anyhow, I made this because I know Mr. Montenegro wants you guys to learn something in his experience, just as what he want us to learn.

This is my simple tribute for Mr. Montenegro, a person who went on with his life, learning from his experiences and spreading it to his students so that wise decisions will occur in the society.
