Marley and Me

I just watched the movie Marley and Me and it was indeed a heart-warming movie… I thought it was about a love story of two lovers, but I realized, before I reached half of the movie, that it was actually about the Dog (Marley)…LOL!

It was really amazing how they give affection to their pets… It is A MUST watch movie!!!

THE LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving
in the right lane when suddenly a car jumped out of a parking space right in
front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the
other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head
around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at
the guy. And I mean he was really friendly.

So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and
sent us to the hospital ! 'This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now
call 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full
of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes
they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish
them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other
people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take
over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so......

'Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.'

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Anyhow, I saw my teacher in College earlier, Mr. Omictin, at SM... He was taking his masters...but that's about it...I really don't have a fix thought in making BLOG entries lately...maybe because of what happened to me yesterday (see previous entry or click here).

Danny on American Idol Says Goodbye!!!

I know this is very late...but I got busy at work and had no time to write about this...

Anyhow, I was in dismay when I found out that Danny got out on the competition. I was really thinking that he will get the name of the AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 8 WINNER!!!

Damn...he was really good compared to Adam (no offense)...but since Danny is out now, I am betting Kris to win the competition (Oh please hear me!!!)

Kris, has this unique taste in making his own version of every song that he sings...

Weekend was the BOMB!!!

Last Saturday, Hanna (Favee), her sister, her cousin, her best friend, and I went out to PARTY!!!

We were at a small grocery store (somewhere in Osmeña), just like STEDS in Dumaguete, and started our drinking session with 1 long neck to warm the ceonversation...after we went to MANGO and saw lots of friends...and one of them gave us free drinks...and it was really FUN!!!

I can't wait for the next days off...

I was supposed to post this yesterday, but because of a rundll thingy all the files in my flashdrive is hidden and the computer system can't do anything about it (Read revious BLOG entry). Anhow, here it is...

Hey! I’m back! Sorry, I was not able to make an entry yesterday because my sister asked me to clean the boarding house and I went with her shop some stuff for tonight’s party...Yes! She’s having a party tonight with her old officemates... And the result, I woke up late and almost (just almost) got late at work...Woooh!

Anyways, I’m also planning to go out with some friends tonight but I still haven’t asked permission (this is one of the reason why I want to leave alone...LOL). I hope its okay with her. Besides, I also need a break...and since it’s my day off...I think I need to treat myself some relaxing thing that I do...Wahehehehe!

BTW, just got out of work...and work is really GREAT! I’m getting the hang of it...though there are stuffs that I really have a hard time finishing, especially if you’re hungry! Wahehehe! But one good thing is that our boss is really good and really patient... She gives us extensions if she can see that we are having problems with the exercises we are doing. She is really good at her work, even if she hardly gives understandable instructions. Yeah!!! Unfortunately, all of us are having a hard time understanding some of her instructions. (Is that really the usual thing? Because like my previous teacher, Mrs. Montenegro, she is really good in programming [JAVA], but she don’t know how share her knowledge to us.) However, the good thing about her is that, she can DEFINITELY answer all the things that we ask! One thing I have noticed is that, I easily understand her instructions if she lets me see what are suppose to be done! Maybe, I’m more at the looking and not on the listening...Wahehehe!

I just hope I get regularized! Because I’m really loving the work...LOL!

Doing Good...

So far, I'm doing good with my job...and I'm really having fun...

Anyhow, my sister is planning to have a light dinner party with her X-office mates this Saturday night in our apartment... For sure we'll be having a general cleaning before that day...damn!

BTW, I'm planning to watch HARI NG NEGROS in Canlaon this June...though I'm still not sure about that! Wahehehe! I still need to contact friends about this...Wahehehe!

Wooohooo! I’m currently in the office…and I just finished the recent exercise we had. I also took my break earlier…and now, I’m just waiting for our boss’ command, whom is very busy right now (looking)…wahehehe!

Anyhow, 4 hours and a couple of minutes more until my duty ends…and I’ll be going straight back to my apartment…

2nd Week of Work...

Oooops! Sorry for not blogging yesterday...I just had no time to do so...and I was in the state of saving money for important purposes...

Anyways, I'm here in an Internet Cafe near from where I work...I am really missing so many things now...information from the ONLINE WORLD, new songs, my ONLINE LIFE, and so much more! sigh...

I just hope my work will pay off all the things (or I may say 'damages') that it has done...LOL!

Well, my friend just arrived here in Cebu...and I am planning a night out this weekend...We'll be PATYING!!!

The End of My Day Off...

Well...it's back to work or me tomorrow...but before I make myself busy at work, we will be having a soccer practice tomorrow afternoon...then go straight to work after...Woohooo! At least I have enjoyed my life here while burning myself from work...LOL!

Anyhow, just ate my dinner...and quite full...better check now all my account before my time ends here in a cafe near my apartment...ciao! peace out!

My Work (Day 5)

Woooh! The last day of work was FUCKED UP!!!

We had this exercise where we need to find errors...and it was effin difficult!!! I mean, I am aware that we already experienced this during I got hired...but this one is way different!!!

They should have given us tips on how to find errors and wont waste our time...or something like that...

Sigh...I just hope they will realize what I am trying to deliver here...


Anyhow, we just had a celebration with my batch mates at work because we were able to survive a week at work!!! Wahehehe! I bought a gallon of Cookies and Cream and ate our whole way to the bottom...wahehehe! We had great conversation and we get along really well...

BTW, I think I'll be looking for a soccer shoes today because we'll be having a practice game this Monday with our boss (whom I am having a crush on)...and I can't wait to show my moves...

In addition, it's my day off now...Wooohoooo!

My Work (Day 4)

Last night was a bomb!!! We had so much fun at work...

We kept on laughing because of these messages we send to each other that keeps going on and on... We kind of abuse our email which is not supposed to be used for spamming or something...LOL!

Anyhow, we just had another activity where I did not understood the instructions...I was not sure if it was not instructed clearly or it was me who was not listening...so i need to go to work early to finish my unfinished exercise...

This will be my 5th day and the last day of work...then day off is OURS!!! Wahehehe!

I can't wait to transfer to our new apartment and buy my new soccer shoes!

My Work (Day 3)

Day 3 was exhausting...aside from getting ready to transfer to our new semi furnished Apartment (cOoL), I was introduced to new job description and new software that I will be using every now and then... Boohooo! It was really, really hard (at first)... I looked so stupid and vague at the same time... SUPER BUMMED!!!

And after a lot of trial and error, I finally understood how it works and how to make that coding thingy that we did, though not as perfect as the pioneers.

Anyhow, it was the last day of the English Enhancement Seminar...and I will surely miss the activities we had...sigh! It was a great wake up call for me that I need to go back to reading (like before) and writing proper (NO to free-writing, which I do here in my BLOG)...

BTW, it has been quite sometime that I have not posted here what my heart desire lately...so I'll take this opportunity write it here...Wahehehe!

My boss...wahehehe! I have this hidden desire for her...wahehehe! I keep on smiling everytime she looks at me...and she always smile back with her petite face and hazeled eyes... Anyways, she invited me (everyone) to join their soccer team and about their practice this Monday somewhere in Mandaue...damn! I need to buy new soccer shoes...I left mine in Dumaguete (Hometown).

I can't wait for Monday...woohooo! I'll make her drool with my soccer skills...wahehehe! Just kidding!

My Work (Day 2)

Woohooo! Everything seems to be doing GREAT!!!

The second day was better than the first...I hope it gets better and better! Wahehehe!

Anyhow, we had exercises on the second day which made me very eager to finish...I felt like I was back in my College years where I used to do more of the said exercises we had.

We also had this English Enhancement Seminar where I get to correct the usual mispronounced words! Wahehehe!

Because of this, I realized that I was indeed not that good anymore as I used to be! LOL...but seriously, it's true!

Okay...my mind is quite unfix right now...I wasn't able to fix what I am suppose to write! Wahehehe! This is the end for now...peace out!

The First Day Of Work

IT WAS EXHAUSTING!!!

I could not say much on the first day because I still need to adjust to their culture and lifestyle...and most especially, I need to reset my body clock! Huhuhuhu!

I started at 11pm last Monday (May 4) and I ended at 10am the next day (Tuesday)!!! Supposedly, I would only end at 8am, but we were required to attend an English Enhancement Seminar which took me 2 hours more...

BTW, the seminar was a GREAT wake-up call for me...that I am not practicing my grammar (generally Proper English) anymore...because I got inclined into poetry and free writing where sometimes they tend to write it in any form, intentional or not...

And that is how I write here in my BLOG...free writing...most of the time, I don't even double check all the blog entries I write... After finishing something, I automatically click publish! Wahehehe!

Got Bored...

I got really bored...Wahehehe! After waking up at 11am and still have not eaten my breakfast, I was searching a song that I used to like (until now)... A very old song that still gives me the chills when singing the song... So, after finding an instrumental of the song, I did not hesitate making a version of the song... Anyhow, I was chatting with Lurch few days ago and she said that my Google Rating is '0' (zero)...because of the advertisement I made months ago...and I was really depressed! I was actually thinking of making a new blog because of that! I never thought making that advertisement would ruin my blog's rating! I'M INNOCENT!!! According to Lurch, the rating will just come back if Google will forgive me doing that advertisement...and guess what? Maybe I was forgiven...because my rating is back!!! YEAY!!! SO HAPPY!!!
