Missing Mama

I was about to post this entry on the exact day that it happened, but I never had the time because of work. Anyways, it was last week during our first break when the janitress in the office asked for a favor. (She is the closest person I have in the office.) She would like to borrow money for her son's allowance for the next day. I never hesitated to give her what she needed even if it was the last money I had.

I was really touched of what our janitress did for her son. It was a mother's intuition...for the best of her family.

I could see my mom in her...the time when my mom, the bread winner of our family, got terminated without any reason. Because of this, there were days, probably even weeks, where we couldn't eat 3 times a day. I noticed my mom not even eating just for us to eat the food in the table. And every night, I could hear her cry, yet the next morning she still let everyone see that she's firm and strong.

Sacrifice and unconditional love is all I could say that best defines my mom...and all the moms for that matter.

I LOVE YOU MOM! And I miss you so much.

Coming Soon...

Wooohooo! I just got out of the office and ,WOW, it's already Wednesday! I never thought time can be sooooo FAST!

Anyways, Transformers 2 is now showing today and I think my sister and I will watch the movie!!! I can't wait...

In addition to this, I just want to give this entry to my (our) Jesus...I just want to say thank you for everything! It may seem very ordinary, but this is my purest thanks to You!

...for giving us this very comfortable apartment...for my sister's examinations where she always answers correctly even if she was not able to study well...for the guidance, health, and our lives Lord, God...

...for giving us wonderful parents...and so much more...

I can't thank you more...for everything...

Especially, for letting it rain...I know you have a reason for letting it rain often here...and I think I know why...

As we all know, Cebu's barrier against A(H1N1) or Swine Flu Virus is already broken. It was already a weak ago that a Korean boy was newsed to be dead and positive with the said virus.

2 days ago, it was scattered to the public that University of Cebu, Mandaue is postponing their classes because 3 students are POSITIVE with Swine Flu Virus! They are currently quarantined in a Dormitory.

And while I was reading some articles on the net, I found out that the rain can cleanse or simply clean the air...and that is probably the reason why it often rains...

See how GOD can be so GOOD!

We often neglect and overlook this kinds of things...and never appreciate it at all...

THANK YOU!

Lastly, I'll be getting a shot of a Flu Vaccine tonight just to make sure I have resistance against this virus. As we all know, PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. I'll also try to find time to buy some surgical mask just in case...since one of the reason why you get this virus is when something is put into your mouth. So you better be careful with spitting mouth...LOL!

That's it for now...peace out!

Happy Birthday Mama Mary

A simple tribute to the Mother of all mothers

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen.

Writing on Air My: musings and random thoughts

HUMMING IN MY UNIVERSE - Jim Paredes

A singer. An artist. A writer.

An overwhelming conversation just happened with Mr. Jim Paredes last July 7, 2008 between 6:53 am to 7:11 am about life, dream, and struggle:

  1. Ciao Mr. Jim, Just finish reading your article and it just breaks my heart that all of the things that you wrote is quite true, ufortunately. Maybe that’s the reason why God gave us talents to share, and intelligence to spread. Yes, I am one of those desperate people who joined the PDA Season 2 Audition (Cebu) for the reason of minimizing our financial burden. However, I only managed to be on the Top 20, but life does’nt end their. You need to struggle for survival, that is what life is about.

By the way, I’m Ricky de la Cruz, from Dumaguete City and my dad is your number one fan…Lolz! If you have time, try to check my blog: http://finlust.blogspot.com/

  2. Hey Ricky,

PDA is not the only way to achieve your dreams. I had my share of rejections when I was starting, and even when I had a career going. Hang in here and show that your dream is powerful enough to alter reality.

Princess–As I always say, JUST DO IT!

    Kenjebz–thanks

For Mama...I'm Sorry

This would probably be the saddest day of my life. I thought I was good, but I was wrong...my mom can testify to it...

I became more strong, independent, and intelligent; however, I also became more spoiled and boastful. My mom and I had a fight because I was so proud of myself. I was so high she needed to pull me back in order for me to live if I fall...She said she was disappointed...but the most painful thing...I never said I'm sorry. I couldn't even remember when I said sorry for all those mistakes that I did or would have unmade if I could...

Maybe that's the reason why I made this entry...to unfill the bottle inside me
