Last weekend was the start of one crazy party festival in Cebu where top-notched summer parties happen.
Beach Break 2013
Beach Break at Portofino just wow-ed everyone with their powerful guests that made everyone wild and crazy! Too mention a few: Gloc9, General Luna, Powerspoonz, The Line Divides, Bethany and the Dumaguete Banda Mangga made me a crazy mad man jumping my as* off at the beach (Sorry for the word...couldn't find a better word of how crazy stupid I looked that night. LOL!)
Kudos to the organizers and their team for making the event as well organized as possible. I greatly appreciate the presence of securities to ensure peace and good vibes to everyone! Just a piece of advise though, make sure that you keep an eye or bring your belongings ALL THE TIME and this actually would apply to all parties that you will be going...and by the way, it's already LIFE DANCE next weekend!!!
Another cowboy trip with my awesome friends heading to Moalboal (located at the southern part of Cebu). Unlike the rest of our friends, Eden and I do not have the luxury to plan our summer trips and if we do, that's called a luck! Most friends already went ahead and enjoy the beach and the party at Bantayan (where people in Cebu mostly visit).
As for us, we chose the less crowded beach and made an overnight stay at Basdaku, Moalboal! We were even very lucky to get a beach-front cottage, good for 5 people for only Php 2,000.00! The cottage is composed of 2 rooms with individual rest room, a queen-size bed and a fan. Despite the heat, the temperature inside was still cool and kept you sweat-free!

The beach is calling me...
I was born from the beach and just being near it makes me glow and shine like a diamond. LOL! Our trip did not end there. We went to this very intimate Beach Resort called Hale Manna and I was surprised how lovely this place is. Hale Manna is THE perfect place if you want to get away from the city-stress and just rest in their cozy environment. You may also do some flexing by trying their kayak. Thanks to Dale for inviting us!

Below are the photos of the room that Dale and family took. There are 2 queen-size bed, 1 single bed , a huge rest room (seriously, it's like a walk-in closet and still has an extra space for gym equipment).

Before rain started to show in the Queen City of the South, I still had one big summer party to cover. Sorry for this late post. I was waiting for some friends to post the photos. LOL!
Anyways, it was our company summer outing at Maribago Blue Waters and it was a killer summer event indeed. It was freakin hot yet fun at the same time. It was a crazy event that made me snor big-time! LOL! This is what I wore during the said event:

It was such a relief dipping into the pool and enjoying the lovely amenities of this place. It was full of good vibes. Also had great people with me that made aura worthwhile. I will soon come back here so a planned summer shoot. For now, I will keep this place anonymous :D

Last Saturday, my friends and I went to Papa Kit's Marina and Fishing Lagoon for a visit and also want to try what is in the said place. I was able to speak with their General Manager, Mr. Demosthenes Inso, and found out that Papa Kit's only started a few months back on September. Check their Facebook Page here.
I've heard lots of rumors of this newly found entertainment destination in Cebu and that's why we have decided to pay a little visit to the said place.
Before we went inside, we paid the Php 100.00 entrance fee (4 person * 100 = Php 400.00). The Entrance Fee is consumable by the way. We went directly to their restaurant and start ordering. Check the link for the Food at Papa Kit's.
After our very sumptuous and affordable lunch, we went to the Zipline area where we paid Php 200.00 each. This will be 2 way trip (back and forth). The line was quite long so there was enough time for us to digest all the food that we took during lunch. We also tried their fresh butong which was very refreshing!
It was indeed fun and worthwhile. Papa Kit's is rapidly getting the attention of the local and it will not take a while for them to have massive foreign visitors. Well in fact, there are foreign people visiting the place already. Because of this, they better make sure that they improve their customer service.
The list below are some things I have noticed that need customer service improvement:
The lady in the front desk when you get inside the gate. They might want to consider looking for a person that is welcoming and who knows how to entertain tourists and customers.
The waiting time of your food after you've ordered.
The restaurant would be even better with ceiling fans (ventilation system).
A cleaner and well washed utensils would definitely give me a very relaxing feeling while eating.
A designated point person would be really great to each of their services so that the customers will have an idea who to ask for example the 'Horse Back Riding'. I would really love to try it; however, I don't know who to ask.
The location of each spots are quite far from each other. They might want to consider a transportation service like a 'gareta' or 'kalesa' to make the scene more like a farm or an hacienda.
These are just some of the concerns I got from my friends and with my personal insight. I hope the management will take this as a constructive criticism or suggestions...and I know for a fact that the management has their own plan on how to make Papa Kit's even better so let's just wait and see for the innovation shall we?
My officemates and I will be going back to the said place a week after Holy Week...enough time to see some improvement on the said newly found tourist destination.

I've been invited a couple of times already to go to Bantayan Island and experience the so called Boracay style this summer and experience their lifestyle. I could still remember a Frisbee player from Boracay Dragons invited me to go with them and play at Bantayan Island. I was about to go; however there was a conflict of schedule.
Few weeks ago, a friend of mine invited me to go to Bantayan. I hastily accepted the offer since it will be my first time to go there. I've heard that there will be so many people during the Holy Week and expenses will be at its highest peak...but it doesn't matter. Money will not hinder me from going there!
There will also be many events in the Island...and one of them is the Pump N Summer 2010. See poster below:
I will be there for 5 days and this will be my first Holy Week at Bantayan...I'll be in a different place with different crowd so I'll try to set some goals. I'll probably get to know a native person and make a documentary short film...set an interview on what they do as a living and what are there experiences in Bantayan Island.
I can't wait to step on Bantayan!!! See you guys there!
