Before rain started to show in the Queen City of the South, I still had one big summer party to cover. Sorry for this late post. I was waiting for some friends to post the photos. LOL!
Anyways, it was our company summer outing at Maribago Blue Waters and it was a killer summer event indeed. It was freakin hot yet fun at the same time. It was a crazy event that made me snor big-time! LOL! This is what I wore during the said event:
It was a perfect day when my blogger friends and I where invited to this one of a kind event that took us by surprise. It was an overwhelming experience go camping glamorously, Glamping.
Yes, a different way to experience camping is through glamping. If you can't literally can't stand a 100% Cowboy style of camping, then go Glamping..and I tell you that it's a carefree and a relax experience.
It started with drum beaters while the others where already preparing the food. Most of our time was spent relaxing and getting the sense of nature. The venue was elegantly done. The colors used was perfect. The food was fantastic! What a great day it was!
Last July 21, 2010 was the 21st year of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort's existence has been consistently a premier destination in Cebu.
I was able to come back and forth to this resort several times already and I definitely saw the improvement of Maribago Bluewater. Having World class facilities and hospitable employees has been a trademark for the said beach resort. Now that Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort is at 21, they have renovated and added some restaurants, including the new Molto Italiano and Cove which is, for me, the best live seafood restaurant in Cebu. They have also improved their Menu and won the Cebu Goes Culinary Competition in 2006. In addition to the beach resort’s innovation is their Amuma Spa which I have tried and am so glad to flaunt it. Amuma Spa offers a full-service spa featuring pampering Filipino therapies, including their signature treatment, Amuma Hilot. I can’t wait for the new changes and improvement that they will be doing.
21 Outstanding Years of Maribago Blue Water Beach Resort
It was such a lovely night where dinner was served and people were enjoying their food while moving their body to the beat of the music. Others went to the photo booth to have their faces taken. While I just sat humbly while enjoying the food and the wine that was served…and there was THE TOAST for the 21 years of existence of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort!!! Before the program ended, they gave some prizes by raffling the names of the guests who attended that night and the prizes was unbelievably fascinating…too bad I didn’t won, but congratulations to the winners! Have many years to come Maribago Bluewaters! Cheers!
It was my first time and was definitely amazed by its beauty...
Before we (some CBS members and I) arrived at Maribago, we got lost somewhere in Marigondon; however, we did manage to get our path straight.
At the arrival, we were welcomed by accommodating employees and gave us our towels for the beach. Since it was hot, instead of going to the beach, we went to the pool and gave ourselves a break.
Then, we went to our luncheon buffet. I had so much fun!!!
Yes, I have tasted each and every food on those photos and one of the best I tasted is Maribago's Ice Cream!!!
After lunch, we were able to talk about a lot of things...from SEO to Adsense to food to experiences...etc. We also had the time to watch Manny Pacquiao's win against Miguel Cotto
I definitely enjoyed and learned lots of things from our discussion.
Before we mark our footprints in Maribago, we, again, savor and enjoy the calmness of their pool.
Here is a video during the event:
An underwater photo session...
Walking Underwater Style...
It was indeed a great Sunday treat for me. Till then...
Our home in Dumaguete has an easy access to the beach. It's just a walking distance...and I often go there to enjoy lots of things: the beach, my friends, and I also go with the fishermen early morning to place the nets. I used to be really dark because of this...yet I love doing it.
However, after staying here in Cebu, I rarely have this chance to enjoy the beach the way I enjoy it before. I keep on waiting for opportunities to grasp the beach and see the horizon again...but wait no more!
I just heard that Maribago Bluewater is inviting all bloggers to enjoy a Sunday by the beach...and I just got so psyched for this special event...since it will be my first time to go to Maribago, if ever given a chance to be part of the said event. I would like it to be on the 15th of November (Since this will only be my available day).
I've heard so much about Maribago Bluewater from CBS and some friends and it just gives me the drive to write and join 'A Sunday by the beach at Maribago Bluewater'.
I just want to thank PinoyWorld for this heart-driving opportunity for us, bloggers, to be part of Maribago's enchanting place.
If you want to join but unsure, I highly doubt if you would still feel the same way after watching Maribago Bluewater video.
70 times 7 - means infinity and never ending of progress
...and I would like to dedicate this saying to Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort for reaching their 20 successful years of giving outstanding and amazing services and depicting cleanliness and environmental friendliness in our country!
I've been traveling back and forth from Dumaguete (where our family lives) to Cebu since I was in College via land trip at Liloan, and I always get the chance to see the Island from afar. Ever since that, I've always wanted to go to the said Island!
I've heard that it's the Marine Laboratory of Silliman University (my former school) who hosted and helped the Island handle the Marine Sanctuary and is now now cited as the best locale of preserving coral reef and enhances reef fisheries management.
In addition to this, because of their 20 years of SUCCESS, let's have a peak on the Island and what stuffs do they have, click here.
