As promised on my previous post, I will be sharing with you the series of events that I will be attending and it would be a great pleasure to share these events with you guys! So, let's start with the first one.

The Queen City of the South and the nearby Islands in the Visayas region experienced horrendous natural calamities for the past few months and even though the news are gone and people are starting to recover, no one can erase the horrifying experience in Visayas. Tragic, yes...but it is about time for Visayas to stand up and keep moving forward. This is the objective of LifeDance Sinulog 2014!

As the USA’s dance music scene continues to come of age on a widespread scale and different styles proliferate and evolve, new talents are coming thick and fast. Only a few have the staying power to go the distance, however.

Formerly known as Nick Terranova, U.S talent Starkillers has been cutting a swathe through the bolshier end of the global house music scene with his tough-edged, eclectic sound. Blending big hooks and riffs, soaring vocals, thumping beats and mind-bending effects trickery, his sound is the perfect blend of high-octane, fierce energy and accessible appeal. The Producer: Taking the name from the Russian word for a reel-to-reel tape, Bobina sprang to life in Moscow in 2003. Moving the act swiftly towards its first album, he released his freshman long-player, ‘Catchy’ in 2004. Bobina’s sound spread wildfire-like across his home country, turning ‘Catchy’ into the country’s first #1 electronic dance album. ‘Lazy World’, the first single taken from it was signed to the DeepBlue label in the UK and marked the first international step in Bobina’s career. In 2005 Dmitry followed this up with the vocal anthem ‘September Rain’ under the moniker Zenon. With A-list DJs Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, and Paul Oakenfold wasting little time in picking up on the track, it was signed to the NewState/Maelstrom music group for a UK release. This deal ultimately paved the way for Dmitry to sign Bobina to the highly respected imprint. His 2006 follow-up album ‘Beautiful Friend’ posted week-1 sales in Russia of over 10,000 units and the video for the single of ‘Beautiful Friend’ made the Russian and the UK’s MTV network hotlists. After taking time out to begin establishing himself as a remixer (see below), in mid-2007 Bobina pushed forward with production on his third album, ‘Again’. ‘Lighthouse’, the first single taken from it enjoyed heavy airplay across Europe and earned Bobina the ‘Most Rotated Artist’ accolade at 2007’s RDMA’s (Russian Dance Music Awards). ‘Slow’ - an electro-trance cover of the Kylie Minogue hit - followed it in April 2008 and set the scene for the release of ‘Again’ the following month. Selling over 40,000 units in the first 3 months of release, it became Russia’s best & fastest selling electronic dance album to date. It has gone on to spawn the singles ‘Invisible Touch’, ‘Time & Tide’, ‘Lighthouse’ & ‘Honestly’. In September of 2009 the album for followed by ‘Again Remixed’. Featuring reworks of all the album’s tracks, it prompted DJ/producers like Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery,Sean Tyas & First State to contribute reworks. In November both ‘Again’ and ‘Again Remixed’ were re-packaged to form a 2xCD set ‘Again – The Special Edition’ for the UK’s Maelstrom Records label. This made Bobina the first Russian electronic music artist to release an album outside their home country. Most recently with ‘Rocket Ride’ - his fourth studio album - Bobina commemorated the 50thanniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first manned space expedition. In July 2011 the album took flight and saw Bobina dominate both radio waves and club floors with the singles ‘Angel of the North' and ‘You Belong To Me'.

Free Day Everyday is a new campaign from Globe as part of their Postpaid's Worry-Free Guarantee. Yes, this campaign is applicable only for postpaid subscribers. So if you're a Globe postpaid subscriber and you want to get big rebates on your bill, this is perfect for you!

Here are the mechanics:

1. Promo pilot will be in Cebu only (This includes all stores in CEBU province).
2. All Cebu subscribers shall be given a promo card via 2 ways:
• Bill inserts
• Take one from any Cebu Globe Store
3. The loyalty card shall contain boxes/tasks which subscribers must complete. Below is a summary of the tasks/offers:

4. Every availment of a product earns the subscriber STICKERS.
5. Subs must collect at least 3 FREE stickers and 3 PAID (Discounted) stickers.
6. Once sub completes 3 out of 6 FREE tasks and 3 out of 6 PAID tasks, he shall be entitled to a P500 bill rebate.

1. What is the FREE DAY EVERYDAY promo?
• FREE DAY EVERYDAYis a Globe Postpaid loyalty card that aims to introduce trial of Unli Boosters to Globe Postpaid subscribers in Cebu.  Once a subscriber avails/tries the minimum required number of Boosters, he/she will be entitled to a P500 bill rebate, to be awarded after the promo period.
2. Why are you giving away free Boosters?
• This is to let subscribers experience the joy of calling/texting/surfing unlimited on their Globe Postpaid plan. The aim of Boosters is to help subscribers regulate their spending  through worry-free unli add-ons.
3. What is the promo duration?
• Promo period is from April 20 to July 31, 2012. To qualify for the P500 bill rebate, subscriber must complete at least 3 FREE items and at least 3 DISCOUNTED items within this period.
4. Who are qualified to avail of this promo?
• This promo is open to all Globe Consumer Postpaid subscribers residing in Cebu. Subscribers must be of good credit standing, and must be able to accommodate Booster Add-Ons in their credit limit.

13. What if I completed all 12 items on the card? Am I entitled to a P1,000 bill rebate?
• Sorry, for this particular promo, each unique mobile number is only qualified to get a P500 bill rebate once, regardless of the number of offers that the subscriber has availed.
14. Can I avail of an offer more than once?
• Sorry, but each unique mobile number may only avail of the same service once. This is to allow each subscriber to experience the different benefits that each product has to offer.  Should you find that you like the service, you may subscribe to the regular Boosters, but you will be charged the regular rate already.
15. I lost my card. Can I get another one?

Globe Celebrates Christmas in November

Globe, once again made an impact to our hearts! Focusing more on improving customer service, there effort and determination was indeed seen...and in celebrating the most awaited Holiday of the year, they celebrated their advance Christmas Party first in Cebu! 

It was one of THE BEST celebration ever! And did I forget to tell you that I almost grab all the prizes there! Hahaha!

The New Look of Globe Flagship Stores - A New Customer Service Experience

Last night, Globe Telecom has once again made another triumphant breakthrough in celebrating and showcasing the new look of the Globe Stores and a full customer service experience! It was a great...wonderful night indeed and I was able to finally meet the President of Globe Telecom!

However, it doesn't end there. Since this was primarily focused with customer service experience, they actually made a training area for their employees. Isn't that awesome?

Yes, inside the Globe Flagship Store at Ayala Center Cebu (Active Zone), which is one of the largest Globe Flagship Store, is a training room for all their employees to further improve their skills in terms of communication and sales for these needs to be yearned and earned.

The development and renovation will be implemented to all the Globe Stores and that includes the training room and the awesome atmosphere with all those fully working phones to examine...and did I forgot to tell you about the Galaxy Tab that you can absolutely try for yourself!

Now, who's saying that Globe is not hearing their customers concerns? You better think again.

GLOBE's Unlimited Texting Goes To All Netwrok

Woooooooooooh! My friend texted me that GLOBE can now text to all network when you avail their UNLITXT PROMO...So, I tried it...and it's TRUE!!! It really worked...

Now, I can text my friends that uses SMART and SUN CELL...cOoL!!!

In addition, I still need to test this for 2 succeeding weeks to test if it is really a PROMO or a BUG in the system...LOL!
