If I Could Stop Time

If I could just literally stop time and blog all of the things that happened here in Cebu, I would...but I can't (but still I wish I could. Hahaha!)

Everything was just too fast. First, came the Earthquake that damaged Cebu and Bohol and some nearby islands. Second, Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) which affected Cebu and greatly damaged Tacloban, Ormoc, Leyte, Iloilo and DaanBantayan (including Bantayan Island of Cebu and my hometown, Dumaguete). Watching the news was just heart-breaking, especially those kids who sought shelter in the school thinking that the it can keep them warm and safe. The school was flooded and the kids got drowned which led them to their last breath. . Sigh! Just when we thought it's all over, recent news say that there is another incoming storm that will struck the Philippines. The official name will be 'Zoraida'.

Let's all be strong and stay alert. I guess those are the best things that I can say as of the moment. I wish everyone well. I can't wait for a stronger and better Philippines. Please bring sunrise back.

Free Calls from Globe

Free local, national and international calls from Globe Telecom.
In quick response to Friday evening’s Cebu ferry disaster where a number of people died and over a hundred still unaccounted for, Globe Telecom immediately sets up two Libreng Tawag centers which victims and families of those affected can use to establish communications with their friends and kin.

The first Libreng Tawag site is at the Pier 4 Terminal in Port Area where about 300 survivors are staying while the second Libreng Tawag center is in Sugbutel, one of the two hostels which house the other survivors.

The free service can be used for local, national, and international calls and text until such time that the situation.

Kopi Roti at Smallville - Exploring Iloilo - Escapades

From Robinsons Iloilo, we took a jeep going to Smallville.

I was really tired! I guess everyone felt the same, but some friends wanted to have a coffee first before going back to the hotel so they have decided to go to Kopi Roti at Smallville.

For me not to ruin the day, I decided to come along. We had some good conversation and it was indeed fun! It was a worthwhile stay! Even though I was tired, I enjoyed everyone's company that night.

Back to main.

Morning!

Just got home...I was with my friends enjoying the night...and also making morning the night! Wahehehe! BTW, a shocking thing just happened to me earlier...For how many years that I have been driving a motor, today (3:03pm) was my first time to experience an accident...though it was not that tragic, I just could not stop thinking about it, first, because it was not my motor, second, the other person at my back was younger than me and I'll be responsible if anything happens to us, and third, I don't want to DIE yet...I still want to achieve my dreams and smell my toga (Yes, I'll be graduating this March, hopefully...)

Christmas pa naman...

So, I've made a proposal for myself, and that is 'NO MOTOR FOR A MONTH OR TWO!!!' What do you think guys..?

Lastly, sorry about the motor beb... :(
