Inspired by the recent host of FIFA World Cup this year, Make Your Own Havaianas Cebu 2014 brings the vibrant culture of Brazil in our very own Queen City of the South. Yes, you heard that right! This August 1-3 at the Activity Center of the Ayala Center Cebu, the much awaited #MYOHCebu2014 gives everyone the creative license to enjoy in the ultimate celebration of self-expression. The entrance is free and everyone is welcome to customize their own Havaianas and celebrate the streets of Brazil from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Just try to imagine Sinulog Fever x Summer Party x Fifa Spirit all together! Are you feeling it already? I do! ;)

Now on its ninth year, Make Your Own Havaianas returns to its Brazilian roots. After all, flip-flops were made to perfectly complement the Brazilian vibrant lifestyle: vivacious, expressive, adventurous, and always the life of the party. The thrill in this full-customization event comes in the ability to mix and match everything: from the soles and the straps, to color combinations inspired by street art, and to the fun limited edition pins – this year all exhibiting everything Brazil from the beats to the wildlife, flavors and beaches, to symbols representing summer fun. Classic staples include geometric and crystal pins plus to give some local flavor, a special Cebu pin designed by renowned Cebuano furniture designer Vito Selma will be available.

Inspired by a 200-year old tradition from Brazil, this year’s commemorative pair features colorful Bonfim wish ribbons that are worn for good luck. The print wishes every wearer Alegria, Diversao, Empolgacao, Euforia, and Felicidade or Joy, Amusement, Excitement, Euphoria and Bliss – true to the Havaianas “always summer” spirit.

My Life Lately

Hey guys! I know...I know... It has been a really long while and I am really sorry for not updating you guys about my shits and all *spank me now. lol!* There did came a point that I emotionally died inside and out *now I know how it feels to be in-side-out boy from Cartoon Network. lol!*. A long, long, long story that I don't want to tackle right now. I know I'll just laugh about it sooner or later. Though, I am really hoping for it to come sooner. Okay, enough about emo shit! Hahaha!

I have ALOOOT of backlogs that I still need to cover and I hate myself for being so unprofessional and unproductive. I have not been (or rarely) accepting invitations not because I do not like it or too busy, but because I feel crazy guilty that I wont be able to write reviews about it.

My goodness, this is going back to an emotional post and I don't want you guys to feel my aura...so as an ambassador of positivity and good-vibes, I wish you all a wonderful week ahead and stay strong in life. Remember, challenges will always be there and it is up to you how you will take that challenge. According to John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, 'Sadly, the world is not a wish-granting factory.' So you just got to live life to its fullest and work your ass off so hard to get what you want. That my friend is a fact.

So let's toast to life and to those wounds that never heals. *klink*

LEE Jeans celebrates 125 Years of craftsmanship and counting!

It was an absolute honor to be invited and celebrated Lee Jeans 125 years with fellow bloggers and social media celebrities. A hundred and twenty-five years of outstanding artistry and uniqueness! In celebration with Sinulog 2014, Lee Jeans conceptualized a DIY event that will extract those creative juices and I, myself had to knock my brain harder to create my own DIY. Hahaha! Trust me, I'm not that artistic as you think so please bare with my creation.

Before I share my very own DIY jeans (YES! I'm very proud of it! LOL!), Let me share with you some photos I took during the event.

Turning 26

Today marks the start of me beyond my 'Silver Jubilee' existence here in our planet. It's not that I am sad or something...It is just that when you get to a point that you are 26, you try to reminisce and look back of all the things that you could have done better. To those who felt or feel the same way as I am, cheers to you. To the young kids who are enjoying and wandering, be more wise in your actions. I am stopping this part of my emotional breakdown because I know I will make it through this. LOL! Emo much!

I would like to give a warm, big HUG to all of you who greeted me on my FB and tweeter account! Thank you all so much! I promise to update you with more posts as much as I can.

I always knew that they were coming soon, but I wasn't expecting it to be this soon! Yet still, thank you for finally arriving here in Cebu! Tomato Time's SWAP watch got a massive online presence in Manila not just because of how they marketed the whole thing, but simply because the SWAP watch is fashionably hip-chic and got great concept of mix-and-matching. Cebu did not have a hard time welcoming the brand because of these. ;)

Made a quick visit to their store the day after and I was amazed how the people really dig the style and the quality of Tomato Time.

Tomato Time in Cebu is located at SM City Cebu upper ground floor (very near Jollibee).

While I was browsing the other products of Tomato Time, to my surprise, my better half bought me a SWAP Starter Kit for our 2nd Year Anniversary (more to the anniversary on my next post. Teeheee!)

I didn't realize the SWAP face box was upside-down. Lol!
