BenMore Scotch Whisky Launching in Cebu

My dad is a whisky guy and he collects whiskys at home. When I was a child, I sometimes sneak at night and sip a glass of whisky just to taste what dad is drinking everyday. After tasting each bottle, I promised to myself NEVER to drink ever again!

Until I've tasted the newest Whisky in town.

Yes, I am now a drinker thanks to High School and College years. To be honest, I'm a big hard liquor fan...simply because beers have way more calories and will eventually make you fat compared to hard liquors. I started with Tanduay Rhum and my body still keeps looking for that distinctive taste. However, the only problem with hard liquors is that it's too strong to most people and most of them are expensive especially Whiskys.

Now, that I knew about BenMore Scotch Whisky, I think I just found my guilty pleasure!

Beauty & Butter in Cebu - Beautifuling to the Fullest

In my entire life, I have never experienced any hands or feet pampering or whatsoever…and I mean literally NEVER! Hahaha! Yes, believe it! Maybe because I didn’t grew in a family of abundance and we were taught not spend especially if you can actually do it on your own. Another factor maybe is that I’m a GUY! I don’t need this mani-pedi stuff.

However, I never expected it could be so much fun! FYI, I think I got addicted to it because right after this wonderful experience. I keep on cleaning my nails every now and then whether I'm at home or in the office. My office mates can attest to this. Waaaaah! Anyways, I will definitely recommend Beauty and Butter and treat my sister and mom. Well, okay…maybe once a month for me too ;)

I guess I have posted it here years ago that the most abused part of my body was my feet. I used to be a soccer varsity and I'm pretty good at it. In addition to that, I'm pretty active with hip-hop dancing, pop-lock dancing and how should I forget my dance sport days in High School where we got the 1st Runner-Up against more less 10 contenders that were dance instructors by profession. So yeah, you can imagine how ugly my feet is. Haha!

(Yes, when a staff is assigned to you, they are your Buttercup!) She is originally a staff from Beauty & Butter MOA (Manila) but she got assigned in Cebu for 5 months to teach and help the new Beauty and Butter in Cebu. According to the Marketing Manager, she is the best in the MOA Branch...and yes, I cant definitely say that too! She was just AMAZING! I will definitely recommend her!

The event was extremely awesome! The Fashion Bloggers and the rest of the people were just fragrantly loud and were having so much fun! The conversation was endless! I can't wait for the Fashion Bloggers' plan of making a Pamper-Yourself-Day! By this time I guess you know where we guys will go ;)

Nothing Beats Home - Dumaguete City

It was a weekend morning when boo and I went to my hometown. My awesome friends welcomed us with a great place to stay and awesome crazy nights!

We arrived in Dumaguete around two in the afternoon. It was gloomy and we were tired of the trip (via bus) so we decided to take some rest before we take our dinner. Thanks to Gia and Jay for welcoming us in their wonderful home.

I just can't explain how I felt smelling the air, seeing my friends and the university where I finished. It was like SATISFACTION!

I just wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the new things in the City if Gentle People. I guess there will be so much more Duamguete Trip planned for boo and I then. :)

For now please enjoy reading our dinner at Gabby's Bistro on Saturday and our Sand Bar Trip in Manjuyod.

Manjuyod Sand Bar: A Trip to Dumaguete

A trip to Dumaguete will never be considered a trip if you don't experience the sea...

We just had the best dinner at Gabby's Bistro (Saturday) and we need to make our Sunday even more memorable! Before this, I have been longing to go and experience again the Sand Bar in Manjuyod so I decided to take that tour!

Manjuyod Sand Bar

We rode a bus from Dumaguete to Bais for Php 45.00. The bus will drop you in the bus stop near Mercado de Bais (the newly inaugurated building of President Noynoy). There you can get a tricycle for Php 50.00 - 60.00 to bring you to a fishing port where you can rent boats of different sizes.
There we got a boat good for 5-10 people worth Php 2,000.00 but to be honest, you can still negotiate this to Php 1,500.00. Unfortunately, I didn't have the power to negotiate that time because I just really want to go to that seven kilometer strip of white beach sand bar. However, before we actually left for the White Sand Bar, the boat that we rented was having problems with its battery so we were transferred to a bigger boat that is good for 20-30 people. How lucky can we get? A big boat for 2K? YEAH! Great deal!

So there we go...and let's just say that the rest is history and let the photos below explain what happened in sand bar ;)
