Protecting Mother Earth Starts From Within
Before we were born, technology has been innovating for everyone's convenience. We got used to seeing our parents, which we consider as our role model, using technology and some other tools to help us with our daily living.
Today, technological advancement has reached its greater peak of being an alternative tool. In the near future, it is indubitably possible for robots to do our daily obligation in life which we have seen in other countries...and they keep on testing and improving these technologies.
However, what we think that will make our lives easier actually slowly kills our Mother Earth and soon us.
These photos below gives us the pleasure of fulfillment and satisfaction; however, these also produces Greenhouse Gas or what we call 'Carbon Footprints'. Because of this, Global Warming has been a very big concern in the society. Weather has been unstable every now and then...
I believe that living life with basic and simple necessity is the key to help our environment. No wants. No luxuries. Idealistic it may seem but being simple and knowing what you really need in life is the key!
Now, it's up to you on how you make your life fulfilling without affecting our Mother Earth. How can you protect your Mother Earth?

French Fries
Candle
Alcohol
There are a lot more things that leads to Global Warming such as vehicles, air conditions, electric fans, lights and those gadgets and technologies that we think is very essential and a necessity to us. I would assume that it will not be very easy for us not to contribute Carbon Footprints, but I guess the best question now is how do we minimize committing this mistake and help the environment.I believe that living life with basic and simple necessity is the key to help our environment. My Say on National Bloggers Association
With all these issues and concern regarding the National Bloggers Association, these are my statements:
- The manifesto was obviously a draft for the said National Bloggers Association. Everything in the manifesto was open for changes. In fact, it was still unsure if it was to be called the 'National Bloggers Association'. It was purposely written to be a reference or a guide for all the bloggers.
- It is for every blogger, not for those organizations or societies. National Bloggers Association is not to erase the local organizations that has been existing. It is a mere bridge for every local organizations to easily organize a national event or whatsoever.
- Its purpose is to designate the manifesto to every bloggers in the Philippines and to those who are Filipinos, but since no one knows all the bloggers in the Philippines, it is definitely a slow dissemination process.
These are based on my opinion and what I can say about National Bloggers Association. I say don't spill incomplete information. There are better ways on how to address our concerns and suggestions. Though this plan is quite impossible, but if it's for the good and for the better of the blogging community, I will say YES and do my best to help and initiate this plan.

Urban Indulgence - Your Organic Spa and Salon for the Family
Last weekend, I paid a visit to a new Spa and Salon at the Persimmon Plus, Mabolo that is slowly getting their fame. Urban Indulgence is not your typical Family Spa and Salon that people go to because they want to relax and release stress, Urban Indulgence is your ultimate ORGANIC Spa and Salon.
Indulge yourself with their organic products, spa party packages, gift certificates and privilege cards. Their best sellers are their glutathione products and they are also affiliated with a Plastic Surgeon - Dr. Alain Senerpida, which is a local from Cebu. One of the owner is also a certified dentist. With this, Urban Indulgence can indubitably guarantee their customers good service and bond for they are health oriented people.
They also have Kids Spa which is very cool! Who said kids can't have spa and relax? I think they are the first Spa to cater this kind of service in Cebu.
Urban Indulgence is a one-stop-salon and spa that offers wide variety of services: facials, massage, foot massage,, body treatment, grooming, hair and make-up, nails, waxing, plastic surgery, kids and teens spa and so much more!
Check their Fan Page.

Mobile Apps Reveals the Real You
**
Society’s relationship with phones has changed significantly. Recent research commissioned by Nokia suggests we are now a world of “app dependants” with 55 per cent of smartphone users relying on apps to significantly benefit their lives. This figure suggests that apps are being used as important life tools - and as usage levels rise, so does our phones ability to learn more about us and become even more useful.
“With so many apps available, people can pick the ones most relevant to them, “Pinch said. “The intimacy we share with our phones stamps our personality onto them. They know our tastes, our needs and even our secrets. If you ever want to really know someone, take a look at their apps – you may be in for a surprise!”
Interestingly, appitypes not only revealed personal traits, but some of our national characteristics too. South Africans are the biggest “connectors” with 45 percent regularly using social networking apps, while the Germans and Indians were revealed as the hardworking and productive “appcentrics.” The Italians were the undisputed “live wires,” with the Brazilians the world’s biggest “creators” with their flair for music and style.
APPTHUSIAST - Appthusiasts are energetic and passionate. They are social creatures who like to know about the latest trends. They are curious, spontaneous and enjoy being involved in diverse pursuits. Their likes/dislikes are illustrated through the content on their mobile; they download lots of apps and use them a lot. Appthusiasts are rarely without their smartphone, sometimes even taking it to sleep with them!
APPCENTRIC - They are hard working, energetic and productive. They have a lot of contacts, are tech savvy, and know how to make their technology serve them best. They’re conventional and prefer data management, numerical and organizational pursuits. Appcentrics get the most out of the more functional apps on their mobile, which they often use as a pocket-sized computer. While they only download apps occasionally, they frequently use them.
LIVE WIRE - Live Wires are active, down-to-earth people who enjoy technical, outdoor and athletic pursuits. Clever and investigative, they’re sociable, have lots of friends and often seek new experiences and adventures, relishing any challenge. They are reliable and productive and this is reflected in their downloads, which tend to be a mix of health/fitness, social and travel related apps.
CREATOR - These people are creative and imaginative. The creator may be a loner or a team player, but when they socialize they often find themselves the life of the party. As natural storytellers, they will not only rely on the creative capabilities of their mobile, but often use social networking sites. They are up on the latest trends and their creative spirit often drives them to brightly colored phones, illustrating that they are fun and open minded.
CONNECTOR - The connector is personable, confident and curious. They have an uplifting and motivating personality with a knack for making friends and acquaintances in the online or real world. They have a collection of apps that they use again and again, often carrying fun apps on their phone and apps that may be useful to others. They occasionally download free apps and their app catalog could do with a refresh.
APPRENTICE - The apprentice is sensitive, kind hearted and independent. They’re inquisitive and clever with a solid circle of friends and a select group of passionate pursuits. Apprentices are interested in downloading apps but don’t know where to start. Don’t be fooled by their shy appearance. There is a wild side just waiting to get out!
“Apps are a great way to personalize your mobile. Like our old record or CD collections, apps reveal who we are – whether we look at the type of apps people have, how they organize them, or which ones they most use. It certainly makes for interesting reading,” said George Linardos, vice president of media, Nokia.

Some personality traits can be revealed through people’s app download and use habits
Manila, Philippines - The adage “you can tell a person by the contents of their handbag” may be true, but now perhaps all you really need to understand someone is to know how they use their smartphone. According to Professor Trevor Pinch of Cornell University, the secret to determining someone’s personality lies beneath the apps they’ve installed on their phone.Society’s relationship with phones has changed significantly. Recent research commissioned by Nokia suggests we are now a world of “app dependants” with 55 per cent of smartphone users relying on apps to significantly benefit their lives. What’s your appitype?
Nokia worked alongside Cornell University’s leading sociologist and professor of science and technology studies, Trevor Pinch, to analyze the study of more than 5,200 smartphone users in 10 countries. Analysis of data including app genre, variety and usage revealed personality categories linked to smartphone behavior that Pinch summarized into six archetypes called “appitypes.”Interestingly, appitypes not only revealed personal traits, but some of our national characteristics too.

Soft Wash Laundromat at Persimmon Shows Great Quality Services
Yes, this is to confirm that I will be a regular customer of Soft Wash at The Persimmon! I have been looking around for a laundry shop that will suit my lifestyle and thank God I found it at Soft Wash.
I honestly hate washing clothes. I'd rather clean the toilet than wounding my hands with all these different kinds of detergents. I used to be a regular customer of another laundry shop; however, I noticed that the quality wasn't good.
I usually have the tendency to check all the clothes if they were properly washed or not. That includes the texture and the freshness of the clothes.
Soft Wash offers free delivery (back and forth) for a minimum of 15 kg.
Prices:
Clothing - Php 29.00 / kg
Blankets/Towels - Php 49.00 /kg
**Tip**
If you are on a tight budget, you might want to consider their clothing price and try to wash your own towels and blankets.
