Balamban Liempo at Larsian Fuente

I've been a critique of Balamban Liempo for a long time now...and they never stop surprising me! Here is my entry about their liempo:
A Critique on the Liempo from the West

Last June 18 was the opening of their new branch in Larsian Fuente. It is a franchise of Gaylord, an entrepreneur and a business enthusiast at a young age. He also have a batchoy business, Nonoy's Batchoy, just beside the liempo and damn it was so tasty! That was the most gratifying batchoy ever! I will visit the batchoy again and will make a different post about it!

My friends (Eunz and RJ) and I went and checked their service and how the liempo tastes like compared to other branches and I am amazed (still) how it taste so DELICIOUS! My friends was loving the taste and is the best liempo they have tasted!

I can't say more on how consistent they have been and how productive they have grown!

Camera is Destroyed

WAAAAAAAAAAAH! I don't exactly know what happened, but when I was trying to charge my camera, IT WON'T CHARGE! It was perfectly working well last time... It must be the battery....sigh! How can I record my videos now if my camera won't work? SIGH!

Happy Fathers Day Dad + Persimmon Celebration

Honestly, I rarely appreciate my dad for the things that he did for me...for us. Maybe because I couldn't find something to talk about with him to get us more attached. I prefer going to mom.

However, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to my one and only dad who never left us in times of trouble. We might not see it, but he was just actually there...just waiting for us to call him or look at him and by the time we loose our strength and about to stumble, he grabs our hand and help us stand back to our feet.

Dad always tries his best to give us a comfortable life. He looked for a place for us to stay. He helped us out with our heavy equipments. He fixes all stuff that we have broken. He give money in times where we really get short. Lastly, he actually tried hard to find work.

He is one of the best dads and if I were to choose for another dad, I won't even bother choosing one!

Now I know the fine line that separates the word father from dad.

Some fathers will just be a father, but some them can be a dad...My father is my Dad and I am proud of him! Happy Father Day Dad!!!

Aside from this, Aboitizland is also celebrating Father's Day in a unique way.

They had this game, more like an Amazing Race, but simpler... It's a father and kid tandem and it was really fun to look at! They also highlighted those people who love their pets and gave way to these animals. From dog lovers to arachnid lovers, you can all see it there. It was actually on this event that I was able to see a live scorpion and it was just amazing! Quite terrifying though...but it was a great event indeed!

Cebu Black Out - Power Shortage

It has been a couple of weeks ago when this sudden black outs in different areas of Cebu happened...and until now, I can't get my work done as a blogger and an active social media user.

I think this does not just apply to fellow bloggers or writers, but to everyone.

Have you ever experienced that your mind feels so alive and active that it throws out thousands of ideas...sentences and you just can't stop typing everything in the computer, then suddenly...a black out happened!

Will you not be pissed?

I am!

What could be the reason of this power shortage here in Cebu? I'm pretty sure there is (must be) a department in every electric supplier that is obliged to identify when will a certain area (a city for example) feel the shortage of electricity...and I'm also pretty sure that there is (must have been) a budget for this future dilemma.

What do you think guys? I need your insights on this one.

SM Cyberzone Summer Festival: the store for all the latest gadgets

Together with the Cebu Bloggers Society, I went to the Cyberzone, SM Cebu last May 25 where the Summer Festival took place...and was extremely amazed of the things that were going on. You can hear the crowd's thrill, excitement and joy all together while enjoying and experiencing the activities that Cyberzone Summer Festival has offered.

There were different kinds of booth around that gave entertainment to everyone. People are thrilled with all the free entertainment they were getting. They say the best things in the world are those things that are for free..and in the said event, you can get free games, free raffle prizes, and free photos! What more could you ask for?

Do you consider yourself a narcissist or, the most appropriate term, I may say, would be, 'cam whore' (camera whore)?

If yes, then let the CAM WHORING begin! Enjoy the photo booth by yourself or with friends and get your best or most wacky shot! I can only imagine how tiring this could be for the photographers...thinkng that we all have the dentencies of being a camera whore (like me).

Once you get sick and tired of looking at your faces, you might want to go to the Upload Express Station where you can view and upload your cam whoring sessions with your friends or your own personal photo and make it your new profile picture on Facebook and other social networking sites, but before that, you might want to enhance the photos you've taken at the Photo Editing Booth. You can also print your photo at the printing area and it will serve as a wonderful remembrance of an extraordinary event like the Cyberzone Summer Festival.


There is also a booth that will test how lucky you are. Try to check it out and you might win a fabulous prize that you thought you will never ever have and would just be in your dreams forever.


...but the best part of Cyberzone Summer Festival was the Gaming Station! The event will never be as pumped up if it wasn't for the awesome games they have shared to everyone! If you watched the video above, you can actually see the games that everyone seems to be enjoying ALOT!

I also grabbed the opportunity to play Wii for the first time...and I was kind of amazed at myself that I actually am really good at it. I played the lawn tennis game and right there and then...I won! It was amazing! It was also a good exercise because I was actually sweating while I was playing Wii. It felt so real and I was acting like it was real...positioning myself as a real tennis player. It was son fun and I enjoyed every second of the game.

Time passes so fast... It was just like yesterday when I wrote my Top 10 emerging influential blogs for 2009 and here I go again...about to write my Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010!

Back in 2009, I could just count my friends in the blogosphere with my fingers. Seriously, I have few friends before, but I slowly gain friends after joining different blogging events and the simple get-to-know meetup offline and online. If you try to read my previous entry about my influential blogs for 2009 (see link above), you will certainly feel that I am a noob... I used present tense because I still feel that I am...though I learned alot about blogging, but there are so many things that I still need to learn...and I mean SO MANY!

I had the chance to ask the author, Sinjin, about the site and these are the words that came out from his mouth (I have no idea why he made the sentences below as if he is a third person talking):
