My First Manila Escapade

Okay, so I actually made a white lie...err...okay it's a lie to my parents that instead of going to a Photoshoot in Shangri-La, I went to Manila.

I'm a bad person, I know...I just don't want them to think that I spend too much. Sorry Ma. :(

Honestly, there would have been a photoshoot in Shangri-La on the 25-26, but I already have my ticket booked on the same date. So I declined the offer and instead accepted the next photoshoot on November (Thanks to Angeli).

Yes, I actually went to get my certificate of recognition for Ms. Janette Toral's Writing Project because my Music Vlog, rabsing.com, was Top 5 of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010. I also met Mica, Ada, Winston and Andrew there and had a Karaoke Session at the World Music Room Family KTV well in fact we have a video of Mica and I singing One Sweet Day - From Beauty To Nightmare :P
On my last day, I met a College friend, Marc, together with his friend, Blaise, whom is a fellow Sillimanian as well. They toured me to most malls and let me ride the MRT! It was so fun!

I also met my idol, Coy, there! I used to love watching his videos, but he stopped making maybe because he was busy for work. However, he did confirm that he will be making videos any day soon :D
I also went to the 40th Birthday Celebration of Gibbs and enjoyed the rest of the people's company. Also a BIG thanks to Chris for being my driver for the whole 2 days! Thanks for everything ;P

Lastly, I went to Ocean Park Manila Bay! Wooohoooo! It was sooooooo COOL! Photos will be uploaded soon!

CITTA DI MARE - Cebu’s very own City by the Sea

Filinvest Land Incorporated (FLI) recently gave 200 of Cebu’s who’s who a preview of Citta Di Mare, a premiere development in the South Road Properties and its biggest project in Cebu. In attendance were the entire Gotianun family, Cebu City Mayor Michael L. Rama, Cebu City Congressman Tomas R. Osmeña, Congresswoman Rachel Cutie del Mar, Vice Mayor Joy Young and luminaries in government, business and social scenes. This special event was a homecoming of sorts for Filinvest patriarch and Chairman of the Board Mr. Andrew L. Gotianun, Sr., whose family’s roots can be traced in Cebu.

Filinvest, as a property developer, also traces its roots in Cebu.

Their first venture in the property business was to develop St. Michael Subdivision in Banilad. This was the company’s pioneer project. Filinvest further strengthened its presence in Cebu by developing more residential subdivisions, condo communities namely One Oasis, the Grand Cenia condotel project, and leisure developments such as the luxurious Crimson Resort & Spa. Filinvest welcomed every opportunity to contribute to the progress and development of Cebu. Each project was another chance to come home with Citta di Mare marking their biggest homecoming. Citta di Mare, will not just be a city by the sea on the rise, but also a unique seaside lifestyle that will change the way people live.

Il Corso

The 10 hectare parcel, or more commonly known before as SRP’s Pond F has a direct sea frontage and will become a new waterfront lifestyle strip that will add a host of leisure activities for the whole family. Il Corso will feature a 1- kilometer long promenade that will allow guests to enjoy and interact with the scenic sea frontage and numerous water fountain accents while enjoying a multitude of shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences.

Il Corso will include a retail boardwalk, high-end boutiques, water fountain show, day to night F&Bs, a wedding pavilion, stage and amphitheater, a marina, a shipwreck adventure and a boutique hotel. At The heart of Il Corso will be the Dancing Fountain Laser Light Show, bringing a nightly visual display of music, color, and adventure to multitude of visitors.

The Residential Clusters

The Second zone will be the 40-hectare residential zone. The residential zone will contain various mid rise residential condominium building clusters interspersed with generous open spaces. Only 35% of the residential zone was used as building footprints, the 65% of the land were internationally dedicated for parks, tree-lined path walks, jogging trails, bike lanes and spot parks as gaps between residential buildings.

The entire residential area will also be car free, making Citta Di Mare truly a distinct pedestrian paradise. Each cluster of condominium buildings will have its own set of amenities- including a swimming pool, a clubhouse and covered activity courts.

Inspired by a quaint seaside Italian community named Amalfi, our Amalfi Oasis will be our first offering of mid rise condominium units comprised of around 10 to 12 buildings of at least 5 story in height.

The Piazza

The third zone in Citta Di Mare will be The Piazza- a 6-hectare open space development within the residential zone that is set aside as an additional open space and leisure convergence area for the residents of Citta Di Mare. The piazza, similar to its Italian counterparts, will have a church, a big water fountain with pool sculptures, and surrounded by street benches. How to Open 2 Skype Accounts on One Computer?

I've been opening 2 Skype accounts on one computer for a long time now. When I'm at work or at home, I open both my personal and business account for communication purposes.
I realized that most of my friends actually need this strategy so I want to share how I did it.

Opening 2 Skype Accounts on One Computer.

It's quite simple actually. I will make it in a bullet step-by-step process.

• Install your Skype in your Computer
• Once installed, find the file Skype.exe which is the executable file to open Skype. It is located in C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\
• Send the file to your Desktop (Create Shortcut)
• Richt click on the shortcut file and go to Properties
• Update the target field and add '/secondary' at the last portion. The Target Field should now be: "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /secondary
• Then click OK.

You can now open 2 Skype accounts on one computer!!! I hope this helps. Do let me know if this works on your PC or not. Cheers!

One of the best events I've been, so far before this year will end, was the Intel Cebu Blogger Workshop 2010 at the Marriott Hotel. It was conducted by the Intel Microelectronics Philippines, Inc. where they aim to minimize or hopefully eliminate the hassle of waiting or what they call the Hourglass Syndrome.
