Before, I just find it so impractical to get my wordpress blog theme customized because of the following reasons below:
- First and foremost, there are so many free wordpress themes on every corner of the World Wide Web. You just need to spend some time searching the net and figure out the best theme that will fit your blog’s niche, your desired and needed features, and some wants that, you think, might look good on your blog.
- Second, I have good coding skills anyway (thanks to the 4 years degree in Information Technology specializing on different programming languages), so I could just do some little tweaking on a desired theme and my wordpress theme is complete!
- Lastly, I have this tendency to become stingy (most of the time).
However, now that I have learned so much not just about blogging (as well as making good and concrete articles), but also the benefits that you can get from it... These experiences gave me new goals and objectives that I need to set in order for me to improve more with this hobby, or I might say, a career.
Below are my reasons why I need to get a custom wordpress theme for my blog:
- First, you are going to get a fully designed and customized theme that will exactly meet your wants and needs. This theme will be done specifically for you. I may have good coding skills, but it’s different when professionals do the work. They have standards that are based from those experiences they have encountered…one of their goals is to make themes that are not just user friendly, but SEO friendly as well.
- Second, you can show off your imagination and create a strong brand image or logo just for you. This will make you and your viewers feel that your blog is established and has strong foundation.
- Lastly, with an established blog, viewers and even fellow bloggers will indubitably be enticed by you and your blog.
I think every blogger dreamed of being influential. Who doesn’t?
…and if getting a custom wordpress theme for their blogs is a step to this stardom, especially now that I am planning to make another blog, then so be it!

Just read a few articles and boos on SEO and ask people exactly what they think the website should look like - people (customer, haha) first. Then, get yourself Dreamweaver and Photoshop, make a design in photoshop, chop it up, make the site in dreamweaver, and tinker eithe meta tags, etc... Thats my 5 cents on this matter...
